The world itself is mostly water, with a single large land mass. The land mass is restricted at its center, as the Capitol dominates this. However, around the outer rim of it small seaside trading posts, inns, pubs, and the like, have sprung up. These are outside the reach of the Capitol, though they have a brilliant view of the shimmering glass and ivory towers within.
The Capitol This city dominates the single land mass that is anywhere on Cayus Prime. The land mass is located on the southern hemisphere, and, thus, can see harsh winters. It is well known that entrance into the city is dependent on several things. For trading passes one must be a verifiable farmer of the outskirts of the Capitol. For day passes, one must be able to purchase a single identification card from an officer, which can set one back nearly four thousand credits. A trading pass is free, and allows access to the city for a period of 7 days, however it may only be claimed once every five weeks. As for a day pass, one must purchase an identification card from one of the many security checkpoints at the cities only road in, known as Synth Pass. Both forms of identification must be worn at all times within the city walls, and are equipped with a chip which will alert local officers if it has run out and has not been removed from the city. Residence in the Capitol is bought with a few things. The first of which is credits. If you have enough credits to grease enough palms, the human leaders within the Capitol may grant you both access, and permanent residence identification, in the form of a chip implant at the base of the neck. Another is through invention. Inventing something that will either make life easier on the human race, is incredibly powerful, or exhibits true skill and intelligence, will be terms for immediate installment within the Capitol, a permanent residence chip, and a career in on of the Capitols many plants, factories, or office buildings. The synths whom live here would like you to believe slips in security never happen. However this is simply untrue. Security slips are a daily affair, and, often, the Officers of the Capitol Police Department(CPD) are constantly called to some of the more low lying areas of the capitol to rid them of the waste that has managed to wriggle inside. There is no crime in the Capitol, this much is true. People generally respect one another, are usually fairly kind, or simply ignore the other humans around them. Any and all disputes are handled with extreme prejudice by the CPD, and have resulted in life imprisonment, banishment from the city, and even public execution.

The outside World Those that have been banished to live outside the Capitol live a harsh life in most cases. With no land masses, floating cities made primarily of wood and metal thrown together in a shoddy manner, have sprung up all over the world. Anchored in one place, and dependent on the mood of the waters around them, these cities house thieves, murderers, gangs, and other such. Most families opt to live on their own house boat, venturing into these towns strictly when they need supplies, or medical car from some of the resident doctors. Few of the cities are known for their ability to thrive, and those cities are closer to the capitol in proximity, often falling on some of their protection, and thus repelling bandits, and pirates, in droves. Technology, in its advanced form, is largely banned in the world of water, though some leaks out of the walls of the Capitol, being caught with it is punishable by public execution. Often Synth boats can be seen speeding through the waters, patrolling for pirates, gangs, or innocents in need of their help. They have been known to destroy whole cities for taking a stand against them, and the mostly indestructible Synths, when in numbers, are nearly impossible to take down. Major technology in this portion of the world are limited to fossil fuels harvested from deep below the water, steam power, and basic mechanics. Advanced technology, such as AI, robots, cybernetic enhancements, are cause for public execution via firing squad if caught by a patrol.
